Alright this is for you guys that have done the v6 to v8 swap (buick obviously)

The 350 I have is out of a 71 skylark and has all brackets and accessorys, including the power streering pump.

Now heres the problem, all the hoses from the old pump are metric, and won't fit the 350's pump, and the metric pump off the v6 has an entirely different pulley backspacing.

So what do you guys do to deal with this? I want to get some tips before I go and spend money on anything that may or may not work.

    Thanks let me know!

    quick fix

I cut the high pressure hose by the steel line put a compression fitting in and havent had a problem. You can use hose clamps on the low pressure side
