    Yes!

Man are you a life saver. I am looking at aluminum heads right now, this very minute, on line. Not only do I want to see the numbers, a little back ground if you please.

What was your original improvement from iron heads?

I currently have Stage I mildly ported, currently run 11:66 @ 116MPH. What do you think I could expect on these numbers with a set of these heads.

What do you think about the BD heads since you purchased them?

Do they have connected steel valve seats (simamese)?

id like to know how they flowed and how much they were when you got them.

valve size and if they have interlocking valve seats also.

    thanks

    Weekender,
I am no lifesaver, but I will answer some of your questions. They do have interlocking seats, which I dont really care for incase of damage or the seats being to large out of the box..... I have owned these for about 2 years and they make big power. I have one of the first sets. They will make a whole lot more power now. 325-215 are easily obtainable with these ported. I have totally reworked the port design on these. Mine are quite a bit better now. There is alot of info on these if you search the board. I would say support TA, Mike and the bunch deserve it more that Disappointing Dick. The TA stuff is better quality anyway. Good luck.

I have way too much in these and about 35-40 hrs porting in them.

On the sets released in April 2006, I was able to get around 325 intake with and 240 ish on the exhaust with a good cleanup & without any major porting. No cut down valve guide boss mods, port matching or radical port alterations from the stock config. FJ Smith flowed them close to the numbers PAE posted and made comment to the chamber design and how well they flow at low lifts.
That TA 308S cam makes real good power with them.

10 sec, you must have got some real good numbers. Let us know what you did and finally ended up with.

Anyone else have info to share on their set.

When I posted they would flow an average of 325-215 I was talking in the .550- .600 range where most of these would be operated at. 240 on the exhaust must be at .800 lift where none of these will really be run at. Here is a sample of what they are like. Mine at .800 we did not measure but they would be well over 240.....
    .200 in- 171 ex- 142
    .300 in- 242.5 ex- 178

Ok, maybe not a life saver, maybe, say, a budget saver, yeah a budget saver, when you consider the amount of $$$ these things cost you tend to go cheaper if the power is comparable. So any good information that appears before your eyes while your brain is full of ????? marks seems to be a life saver at the moment.

Thanks for sharing, these number are great information based on the specs my camshaft operates at.

My intakes measured 325 at .600
    & the exhaust flowed 240 at .750

Your low lift numbers better mine by 13 to 14%.
    Nice work.

John Zerucha ported and flowed my bulldogs, it was the first set he had done.
he told they flowed much better than he expected. the flow sheets read like this.

    OUT OF BOX
    intake exhaust
    .100 65 57
    .200 128 101
    .300 195 136
    .400 252 163
    .500 284 185
    .600 284 198
    .700 no # 200

I tried to get the #'s all in one post but it crammed them all together and they were unreadable. so here are the modified (ported) numbers. the #'s were rounded up or down so as not to have any tenths in them.
    ex. 142.8 = 143 214.2 = 214 etc.

    PORTED

    intake exhaust
    .100 70 67
    .200 143 124
    .300 214 168
    .400 281 194
    .500 332 218
    .600 353 231
    .700 no # 240

You need to use periods in between to keep the spaces.

    100....200....300
