I used moog and PST when I fixed my ride up. Moog is called a problem solver for a reason, the hot rodder that sold me the PST bushings told me to go with the black ones. I don't know if they are rubber or what. He said the red ones make the ride rough and squeeky, but the black ones were smooth. I found him to be good to his word. Yes us guys in the states can walk into auto-zone or oreilleys and buy these. If you go online to these, you will find you can have them mailed to you. Do not know how pricey the postage is. When I was stationed in Germany, I found it cheaper to buy my parts online or through mail order and they were cheaper than on the local German economy.

I used Moog on all my ball joints and found them easy to install, and no problems so far, but I do drive only in good weather right now.

I put energysuspenstion poly bushings of the front of my DD truck last summer. If I recall i ordered the Red ones, which are just polyurethane, where as the black are polygraphite.
I don't find the ride to be to noticeably harsh (My wife actually commented on how much smoother the truck is) and I have greasable bushings on the sway bar, and if I find if I let that go a little to long it'll squeek and creak, but I've enjoyed them so far. Defently a much firmer feel over the OEM (these being only 14 year old rubber not 40!). I did find the front wheels wear quicker now that every thing is tightened up (I got a super discount on lifetime alignments aka montly for me, so i know it's aligned!)

I'll probally go rubber, or the polygraphite with the skylark when i get to it.

I replaced my front end bushings with (red) Energy Suspension poly. They do squeak some, and need to be sprayed with lube periodically. About a month after doing the front, I bought the rear bushings from Energy Suspension. This time, there was a small, hand-typed "addendum" slip in the package that said you need to coat the poly with white lithium grease before installation. I did that and the rear doesn't squeak at all even after 10 years. The ride is a little stiffer, but hardly noticeable when you're having so much fun driving. Handles like a dream!

I have Energy suspension bushings in my front & rear of my 67. The only bushing which squeaks is the track-rod on the rear end, and that one was stock rubber from TRW. I just lubed them when I did the rear springs/shocks/air bags.
