It may be "hacked up" but I always loved it!

Perry, I hope to see it in GSE the way it sits. Beautiful car.

'LEAVER' is running in this year Lone Star regional buick bash tomorrow. We where forced to change tracks at the last minute because of delayed construction at Temple. Now we have to run during the years kickoff event at San Antonio raceway. Great track but a million brand X cars.

Should be great fun! We'll see how she does in legal GSE trim.

Wayne will be there also just like old times.

I remember when Leaver was first sold to a youg guy in Houston and he had 3 GS's his name was Jason. Anyway myself and a coupe of Suncoupe guys went to his house in an affluent section of Houston and we started it up and made a couple hot laps in his neighborhood . I really loved that car and I never even knew it was up for sale until it showed up at BG and then got sold but Jason did not own it. What a cool car. What a great name for a Buick!

Yes, Jason still lives in town. He came up to us at a show one day, "Hey, that's my old car".

At 3860 the car is kind of heavy. We've added some power to the car so now it either hooks or spins. Sometimes it hooks then spins at the 1-2 shift. We will be on a good track this weekend. It will be prep'd.

Does anyone remember a car from around 1981, grey stage1 with crossed finish line flags on the deck lid. The text under the flags was "Buicks finish first". I remember catching up to it at a redlight by our local street racing drag strip. Midnight trail from the Clent Black song.

Norm is still around, he plays around with stock appearing GS's now and he's been doing lots of QJets lately. I'll probably see him tomorrow.

Senderhauff (sp?) still has the 67, last I spoke with him he was in the process of restoring it.

    HTH
