Now this one takes me way way back. This was after a long night of street racing in the old Junior Stock Big Block trim. This photo was snapped with me (holding helmet) and a few friends. My memory is fuzzy, but I think that GBUICK on the right, and Brian Liggett in the middle.
Jim, the white car, Bill, from Fort Meyers Fla. came around a few years then gone, sold protective magnets for the lower rear quarter panels as I recall. can't remember Bill's last name at the moment. Bruce
Got Jim Going made with back in the Day Buick Pictures thats Cool. Back then it was a good old time. You did not care wait your car was worth just how am I getting in the 11's or 10,s What happen to Norman Dihle? or the Senderhoff's. I remember when GS Junior Stock was Won with a 12.04 ET.
   More like "who IN THE HELL are those guys?". My excuse is 300 wings from Toots every May and 4,970 wings from Hooters the rest of the years since then. What is yours??? p
I never liked to think about it much less talk about it, but you two have spent many a night in the same hotel room alone, hundreds of miles from your wives.:eek2: These pics sure bring back memories don't they? JR, remember Brians predictions for his cars ET and MPH every year?? He always came within 6 seconds and roughly 70mph.
Bill Locke I think still owns the car, I know him and Fernando did the Power Tour a year or two back, and Bill drove his GS from WI to Fla, and back, the whole way, and made the Long Haulers list...
You got 1/2 his name, so you can pay for 1/2 the wings. o No: No really, lets meet up and they are on me! :TU:
 Every time we checked in the Motel 6 I would ask the desk clerk for a pair of ear plugs and some air freshener because I hate the smell of burning rubber and the sound of a man screaming. :moonu:  I have some of those predictions on video. I remember when he made predictions, his car wouldnt et very well (like 9.20's), but it would fly out the back with mph in the 170's. ou: I have a box of old pics from the Nationals in the 80's and 90's I need to find. I will try to post some of them too.
Jim, dig out those old pics would ya? I would like to see Senderhauf's '67 if you have it. I also remember Jacob Chamberlain's car (red 70-72?) running back then. How about Wayne Emmotts '70(Leaver)? How could I post some of my old pics? Need a little help here. I have a bunch.
"Leaver" is in post #7 Senderhauf's car was one of my favorites......I've always thought about how cool my car would look if it was a 64-67.
Didn't Lawrence Conley's son run his car in GSE a couple of years....circa '90 or '91 ? I'm thinking it was a red '70 GS Stage 1 with Weld Draglites on it. I know it wasn't Bruce Kent's "Red Torquer", but it looked about the same.
My buddy Greg Hurst of houston now owns Lawrence Conley's son (Brad) old car. Its silver now. 72' stage1 car with a G&G built 455. Currently having a procharger rid made for it to be installed soon. 'Leaver' is owned by my brother inlaw Jeff H.. Wayne had baught her back from Terry Paulk and we got her from Wayne. Had no engine but still looks the same. 'Leaver' now sports very nice looking 442cui JE 10.82:1 SE stage2 motor with AM&P custom cam. This car flys.
That's torture............ There was a very clean 65 for sale locally a few weeks after we started on my car,Would've been gold w/a black top and interior........*SIGH* Guess I'm stuck w/ this Black beater.
