For reference. These are specific for the GS and Wildcat 4-speed cars.
See Brian Stones car for a cleaner one  This is showing the ##s and GS on the tailshaft.

I should have taken one of the date code on the tailshaft, forgot that one, but it's 12-64.

    Want to oust the automatic.

Will that drop into a '65 Skylark hardtop with a 300 engine?

    Nice Mark!
I like the picture of the reverse switch too. This one had it, but I took it for the convertible. Now looking for one :Brow:

    Robert S,
We are looking at the date code circles that are cast into the side covers. Here is a close-up that shows what I am talking about.

I am trying to get another piece of the puzzle solved, so if anyone has a T-10 and can either post a picture, or the information it would be helpful.

What I am looking for is the top & bottom numbers, and the number of raised bumps in between.

    Thanks. Duane

    Duane,
Mine has a cast iron side cover without any markings on it.
The only piece with a date code cast into it, similar to your photo, is the tailhousing.
    That is 12.11.64 :puzzled:
Do you think that I have an earlier variant, or could the side cover have been replaced? :Do No:
