 Well my attempt at finding a last minute deal on plane tickets has failed, so I've resigned myself to the fact that I won't be attending the BCA Nationals this year. So, rather than throw a pity party, I thought I'd see if anyone who is lucky enough to be going might be willing to take some pictures of particular years/models of Buicks for me? :Do No: I thought it would be worth asking, anyway.

Hey David, if you are willing to hang out at the airport on standby you may still luck into a deal. A word of advice though, avoid NWA right now. They are cancelling flights like crazy...including my ride home on Sunday morning :af: so I am scrambling to find a way back right now.

Since my Saturday is still up in the air as far as when I am now flying out, I will try to take photos (guessing Wildcats) and would be happy to send anything I have if I have time to take photos after judging.

Post what you are looking for and I'm sure someone will have a computer with internet access I can check and I'll see what I can do to help. :TU:

Just checked the BCA website, they already have some photos up for first couple of days... looks like they'll be posting pics on a daily basis. I'll be taking a lot of pics when I get down on Friday and I'll post a few on the BCA Nationals thread! Too bad you can't make it, looks like its going to be fantastic!

Well in Michigan the majority of flights have some connection to NWA....besides, if I find airfare it seems kind of expensive to have to scramble for a rental car, lodging, etc. for just a couple of days. my mistake-I should have planned out the trip way in advance. But, finances weren't certain for this summer (when are they ever certain?) Two of my favorite things to do at a National are to check out all of the cars, talk with the owners-and of course, take pictures and to scope out the swap meet. No matter what bargains may be had at the swap meet, it would turn out to be an expensive way to get parts! Anyway, if I could I'd like to get pictures of yes, 68 Wildcats, 67's as well, 66-67 Rivieras and '57 and '58 Caballeros, Limiteds, Roadmasters, etc.
I really was hoping to attend this year-I'm sure many of the west coast cars will be there, which don't always make it to this part of the country. I'm sure everybody will have a great time.:TU:

Sorry for the delay... here are a few pics from the show as requested. There was a good turnout at the show with both alotted parking lots being full to the point that cars were parking in the driveaisles. Here are a few pics of the cars you were looking for... I do have some of really nice 66-67 Riv's but they are on my home computer so I'll post them later. :beers2:

Anytime David! Unfortunately there weren't any '68 Wildcats there, just a LeSabre 'vert and an Electra 'vert for full size. Let me know if you looking for anything else.

I should have mentioned this before, but I would be willing to mail out CD's with all of the BCA National pics I took (almost 300) in return for a donation to the V8Buick board. Just PM me with your mailing info and the details of your donation.

Depending on the response, I may have to rethink this, but let's give it a try.
