I am attempting to patch my radiator support where the battery area was and almost all of the area was gone up to the 45 degree metal before the vertical headlight area (pic 1). So I am out of luck making a template from the removed peice also my inner fender needs a patch in that area too so maybe you can see my problem but how do I weld the patches in the correct spot so I can have my patch bolt holes good for the inner fender attachment point and also have it lined up correctly so I can have the bushing cup in the correct spot? I noticed these dime like holes in some spots and they are mirrored on the other side too (pic 2). I am wondering if these are alignment points the factory used when patching these things together. Any body guys got some advise to help point me in the right direction.

Pic 3 (still behind the healights but lookin up and left towards radiator area) is just another example I am citing that they may be alignment holes because where 2 or more ovelap there is at least one spot like this that is too big for hardware, nothing passes through them and they are not welded.

The kits work fine just got to change the shape to get them to look remotely close to original,.,..but you have a good amount of wiggle room with the cup and it's pretty much pretty determined anyway
