P295/50R15 tires

    Is anyone running P295/50R15 TA radials on 10 x 15 rims with a 5 inch back space on the rear of their 70 GS? If so did they rub any where? Thanks.

    10" wide rims need 5 1/2"- 5 5/8" back space. Anything less than that will rub I think.

    Thanks for the replies. I would not want to roll any pinch welds or bend anything to get them to fit.

    When I was a kid I had a set of gabriel hijackers on the back end with L60 Mickey Thompsons, on the front I had a narrow 14 inch All mounted on Ansen Sprint wheels. I still like that look. Are you home safely?

    Morning Jim! Yes I am. Still unacking, putting away, cleaning up after an AWESOME trip!!! Stopped at my sister's house in Pensacola for 2 days. Tuesday we climbed to the top of the Pensacola light house. Oh what a mistake. My legs were sooooo sore on the drive home!!! Every time I stopped for gas I could hardly stand up. Ouch!
    We missed you at the camp ground! There must have been 9 or 10 Buick campers all around us. Had a GREAT time! There will be next year....
