My Buick Frinds, Our oldest grandson needs your prayers, just out of Air Force basic training 2/12 and at Kessler AFB in Biloxi Ms for training school. finally got a weekend off base and went to Panama City Fla. with some of his friends. He was found Sat Am beaten and in a coma.ray: and left in a ditch. I just got an update; he is awake. And giving the police dept a statement. Hopefully they find the punks responsible The police probably have their handsful with Spring Break. I heard that gangs are rolling folks there for drug money His Mom and sister left last evening for Fla. Thanks Gary
Prayers sent. It's sad, but soldiers & sailors have been facing this problem since the dawn of time. They come into a new town with some free time and some cash and encounter low-lifes who specialize in ripping them off.
Very sad to hear of this all too common issue. Prayers for strength on the way for your brave grandson, his loved ones, and everyone else he serves side by side with.

Glad to hear he's back in the saddle:TU:What a terrible thing to have happen.A friend of mine walked out of a tavern here & got hit from behind,beaten & left to die.He lost most of his teeth,has slight brain damage & a cracked skull.The guy didnt even rob him,just beat him for the hell of it.He was caught,turns out to have ties to a Ca gang....he's in prison now:blast:Just sad you cant walk down the street anymore without looking over your shoulder.:rant:
Just talked to his Mom, still in Ms. He was rolled and they found him in a coma with no ID on him and they had a John Doe name tag on his arm. So I call him our Miracle Boy, at first they were talking funeral arrangements. And all the prayers were really appreciated. Carol and I have been worried sick since that. And yesterday he had to get up in front of all the airmen at Kessler and give a talk about drinking off base and what trouble it will cause. Hopefully it will sink in to others young folks away from home as to what can happen. Thank You Gary and Carol
