Does anyone have a pic of an original 68-72 gm idler arm available? I'm trying to see the exact differences between an original and what's currently available

    Jason,
I don’t have a pic but the originals I have seen look thinner then the replacement parts. I just took a pic of an original idler arm off a 70 Flint car. I will see about sending it to your phone.

I got a Moog one for my 69 Skylark and it didn’t work, so I used the original one.

Looks like 508 still has its original idler arm installed. I wonder if it's "rebuildable"? I'll have to take a closer look and see if there's any play in the joint

I have a whole original steering set from a 70 GS suppose to be 40-50k mikes on car. Bottom line parts are tight, original boosts in tacked just dirty and greasy as usual. If interested PM me.
