While I'm aware of the opinions that the MT & Hoosier drag radials are about the best for max traction on the drag strip, I have a different priority in mind:

I'm looking for a soft compound tire the looks more stock and can be gotten in a size more in keeping with the G60 size (about 26.5 in diameter). The 275 /60 x 15 just doesn't do it for me and I also don't want to mess with my speedometer gearing or my rear gear ratio.

So, how about this one by M&H? Or, has anyone tried others that work on the street?

I appreciate that and welcome the results of any research you can provide. I'd love to find a soft compound tire that has white lettering on the sidewall but, that's probably asking too much.

My 18” wide ET Streets hook up really well... the car dead hooks on any surface. I can leave the line at 5000 RPM with the turbos spooled up and it just grabs and goes.

American Racer Tires, they make 3 different size G60x15. Work great on the street and at the track.
