    Four wire bolt on project...

... well there's a bit more to it than that.

I'll do a full write up after I'm done.

    Yup - Holley Sniper Quadrajet.

I had been considering the original 4 barrel version but that would have required either a manifold swap or conversion plate. The Quadrajet version means it's pretty much a bolt on replacement.

At a minimum it does simply require 4 connections: +tve Ignition run-start, -tve coil, temperature sensor and O2 sensor.

You also have to factor in it requires 65 psi of fuel pressure with an active bypass return and with that in mind I'm replacing everything from the tank cap to the manifold.

The basic kit comes with all the sensors and looms pre-wired. Just needs a little trimming and figuring out where it's all going to live :)

TexasT Texas, where are you from

What are you doing for a tank and pump? New lines? I've seen a setup that has a reservoir that mounts under the hood and is fed by the stock set up and has a pump in it that draws from the reservoir and provides the pressure needed to the injection unit.

I'm using a Tanks Inc tank intended for a 1964-67 Buick Special, Skylark ( http://www.tanksinc.com/index.cfm/p...t_id=420/category_id=102/mode=prod/prd420.htm)

It's the closest thing to a 1972 Electra tank I could find. I'll need to make a custom neck and use some spacer material between the tank and trunk floor because it has a kink up at the neck end whereas the Electra tank is flat topped. I also had to replace the stock resonators with Thrush Glasspacks to gain some extra width. Along with the tank I got the Tanks Inc GPA-2 in-tank pump and floatless sender. An Earl's 10 micron filter and EFI regulator completes the set up.

Fuel line is going to be Earl's Ultrapro with the polyester sheathing from end to end. This uses twist on hose ends that can be assembled using standard tools and has a 1 inch minimum bend radius making for easier routing.

I'll do a full write up of the project when I'm done.

Everything is already purchased with the exception of a few hose ends that I'm waiting to see what angle works best.

Went with a new tank because I wanted a clean fuel system end to end. Everything will be shiny and new from the gas cap to the manifold (and back!) It is a more expensive route to go but it'll be a one time investment and will outlast me for sure :)
