After about a month of waiting for my trans to be built( to handle the soon to be new motor) My 66 was back on the road today. I had some running around to do so I was out in the lark as always. First let me tell you after almost 70000 miles on this set up that runs 12.4 at 108-110mph it still pulls like theres no tomorrow. We'll this young kid that must have been leaving the local college( I live down the road from) was in his new mustang. It sound nice and that was about it. So he see's me looking at his car and throws me that rev,rev. Needless to say about 30 feet ouf the line were even because if I leave to hard the tires go into smoke and thats when I punch it. The car hit hard like the other trans from first to second and let me tell you when I hit third the back end of the car jumped sideways. That poor kid didnt even pull back up to look at what just smoked his car. Let me tell you that I am sure happy about my new trans and this thing hits hard. I cant wait to get the new motor together and see just how much faster she'll go. Doug
