    Here are my Oldsmobiles

Im looking for 11's with my 72, Best ET so far is 12.11@113.5, Thats with 3:31 gears, 2600 stall convertor, and a 4000 Lb race weight with with me in it. I drive it to the track, And I can drive it anywhere at a moments notice. I run a Gearvendors overdrive, I plan on going with a 10 inch 3000 stall convertor and some 3:90 or 4:11 gears over the winter.

Hard to believe seeing all this Olds stuff on our Buick forum. But come to think of it I may have had the best Olds ever. It was a 66 F85 with a BIG BLOCK BUICK in it. :moonu: Did oil changes and tire changes at the same time.

Have to give you Olds guys credit .. you posted some great cars here.

ttt you olds guys done showing off?

personally like the 66-67s best. no offense, but the 70-72 olds look a bit bulkier than the gs's. not meaning to say they don't move.

    ALL new suspension
    new tires

    Joe, that's a nice one.

Should we set up a OB race and leave out the P guys? I'd like to go up against a few of the cars on this thread!

I have a warm spot for the Olds. My folks had a 54 and a 58. One story to share was when we hit a pheasant in the grille of the 58 in Wisconsin. My father peeled it off the front of the car, tossed it to the side of the road, and we were on our way without a scratch on the car. Cleaned off the blood after we arrived at my uncle's place. Sherman tank of a car.

My brother totaled the 54 when he was in high school, circa 1960.

Never had an Olds muscle car, we were into Buicks by the time I was 16. Dad had Rivieras and they were great in their own right, got my Skylark new in 72.

Olds & Buicks are top of the line. Who wants to race, where and when?

    See you're missing some trim

If you're missing any trim (down, Casey) a friend here has parted out many 67's. Let me know if you need anything.

Nice car. Really nice trailer. :Brow: :Brow:

    Thanks guys!
I have the fender trim, I actually bought it new at the Olds dealer about 20 years ago. But since I replaced the fender with one off an f85, the mounting holes aren't there and I never got around to drilling them. I am looking for the chrome and black finish panel for the deck lid. I have the original one, but the chrome is poor.

When I got the car, it had the original driveline, with headers, an isky cam and an 800 Holley spread bore. I blew the motor so I put in a 425 that I swapped the original heads onto. When that blew, I put a 455 in and a Doug Nash 5 speed and a 3.23 12 bolt. The 455 was pretty stout and didn't blow, but I wore it out. The Original motor and tranny is all gone, but I still have the original heads. Since it is a CA car the heads are drilled and tapped for smog tubes.
I don't know if I should put a 400 and muncie back in it, or rebuild the 455. That 455 and 3.23's is sure nice on the street. Dave does your buddy still have that ixtysevenhay ourhundredfay?

Are all these "Blew" problems associated with your foot?

    Probably gone

He sold that, but Richard Wigginton in Mississippi is trying to sell a 66 400 right now on ROP. Asking $500 for it. Check it out in the For Sale section. I think his user id there is 70Post.
