Old school distributor machine....sort of

    Using this simple setup i found my total HEI distributor mechanical advance. Looks like 10 distributor or 20 crank degrees. Now if I can only figure out how to spin it with my drill, attach a pointer, abd 20201107_155916.jpg 20201107_155853.jpg 20201107_155501.jpg use a timing light to figure out my timing curve

    That's pretty good for an HEI, they usually have a lot more which can be a problem. When you install it, set the timing curve with an accurate tachometer, advance timing light and an assortment of springs.
