hey guys, joined the forum a few months back after buying my first buick and first car in over 20yrs. anyway finally got other projects done and am starting on skylark. crawling around car and checking things out and noticed that the motor was 1 1/2" off center to right and that the steering column comes out from under dash angled towards the left. is this normal? thanks

Yes. X and F bodies had engine offsets to clear the steering stuff.

thanks! what about the column coming out from under the dash really angled to the left? found a few more issues, like broken driver side motor mount and no bolts in the trans mount. motor was definetly rolled to the right.
