But now we have Jerry and Paisley......i found Jerry one morning along the side of the road near death and Paisley my wife found on facebook.

That’s AWESOME Jim, you have the right mindset!
That’s funny about your new boy peeing on peoples legs, he was just marking them “your my friend now” LOLOL, give him a treat!

    True story:
My stepdaughter left her husband, don’t know the details, when she left she didn’t take her dog Tucker, she took her other dog, Tucker was with her since he was a pup, well Tucker passed soon after she left, we believe he died of a broken heart, makes me very sad to think that

Zach, she was hurting and in pain. Accepting the certain emotional pain in exchange for relieving the misery of your loved one was an unselfish and honest to goodness act of kindness and mercy. So sorry for your loss. We've been there too.

By far the hardest thing to do. had to do that many, many years ago with my Javid. A rescue dog that was with me through thick and thin. I should have put him down sooner as he suffered way too much... Me being selfish. It effected me so much that I didn't get another dog for many years. Again, me being selfish.
But did get another rescue two years ago. Jim is right, we're giving a loving dog another chance.
Barrett, has a great life and makes my life so much better.
