How hard would it to clone a nova to an apollo

for the front i'd imagine you;d need everything from hood, fenders, grille, front header panel, bumper and cowl panal, turn signals?

as for the back...just rear bumper, tail, panel/lights and bumper filler, turn signals, and wire harness?

lastly, 73/74 parts are the same correct?

if you have the 2 cars whole, i think it would be easy, but if you need to piece everything in single transactions i could see it becoming expensive. i believe it has been done before by a guy on this board, but i dont remember who. and yes a 73-74 are the same, but there may be a few very minor cosmetic differences.

doors lines are all the same. need front end clip and the rear taillight assembly complete left to right, Also BUMPERS are different you will need apollo bumpers and fillers are also different.

Dash is all the same, GSX 74 has different skins than the nova/omega buckets. Grab Apollo label on right of dash too.

Apollo did not offer a console. to be a true apollo.

They were built side by side in Ventura cal. plant.

easy change if you have a doner car and a Nova conversion car is possible.

yes, when i posted this thread I was planning on buying a 70 nova for 600 with a 250i6..i found every apolla part for the conversion minus hood, rear bumper, and taillight casing that goes on the quarter panels..and i was at around 1200 for parts plus cost of nova...

I just found me a 73 nova, front end looks intact, rear tailights look good, rear bumper looks a lil bent up but it has a buick 350/th350...needs quite a bit of work but its only 500..and perhaps 450 to 650 to ship it

so, i'll still be comming out cheaper then doing a conversion..
hopefully I'll get pics of the rear frame/front subframe sometime today ot sunday....then arranging to get the lil diamon in the ruff shipped to PA:laugh:
