Anyone ever hold or attend a Northeast region Buick event? I'd love to go to these events I see listed, but Michigan...Nevada...I only get 16 vacation days a year, lol. Howsabout something in New England? Right now we are featuring a regional meeting of Cold Arctic Airmasses, in just a few weeks, but spring will come.

:beer :beer I hear ya Chris, show me where to sign up and I am there!!!!!!!!!!! I have been putting up with all the brand X crap my whole life. Not too much going on for the buicks in the New England area. I would love to start a local buick club in the Boston, MASS. area. I currently have two GS"S, have a few friends that have some. If there is a GS in a 100 mile radius I most likely know about it!!!!!!!!!! Bought My first GS when I was 17 YRS old and have been loving them all My life.Let Me know if You have any ideas for starting a local buick club, gotta start somewhere.

There are a couple of options for us NE guys.

Firstly is my favorite, the New England Buick Racing Association (www.nebra.org). It's mostly the V6 guys, but there are usually some of us V8 guys at the events. They usually have a dyno rental once a year, a track rental, a fall picnic / show, and some other stuff. It's not as good as they have it in some other parts of the country, but ain't bad.

Another option is the Minuteman Chapter of the BCA. It's mostly the "old" Buicks (i.e. 1930s - 1950s), so we're kinda outsiders there. They are more into the restoration of windshield wiper motors than going fast - not my cup of tea but it's an option.

And don't forget the NE chapter of the GSCA. There are some damn fast Buicks it that group. They don't really have much local racing, but they are 1/3 of the Cecil County Regional meet. They have a great newsletter too.

Instead of making our own (small) club, I think the best bet is to take advantage of the economy of scale that NEBRA has - the track rentals and dyno days are fun.

    Just my thoughts...

How about starting a sister nebra/gs club ? Or starting our own boston / mass club. I know of about 6 other people who are interested in a local buickv8 gs club.

    Gentlemen,
Check out the Buick Performance Group homepage and look for the NE regional director under the "contact" button on the sidebar.
Contact Al F. and maybe something can happen.
    Just my two cents!:)
