No oil pressure at idle!

    well i thought it was all set but the clacking lifter came back a couple miles down the road...i guess im in for a little project..:blast:

    How can you pull a lifter out and replace without removing the intake manifold? I'm quite sure the push rod hole will be too small to pass a lifter.

    ok...my 350 had this problem before I tore it out and put hte 455 in...could never get rid of the tick.

    One interesting thing that I'm surprised nobody has mentioned. 20w50 is heavier than 5w20, have you tried a lighter oil to see if your pressure doesn't fall off as sharply when warm? I used to always run sae30 in everything I own until a friend of mine started talking to me about this. Now I run 5w30 in my Buick and am a lot more comfortable with my oil pressure.
