I wonder where he found a 1969 "period correct" 455? That would just be the first of many questions. Looks like it has the "paint everything black" undercarriage dealership detailing option. Asking price is $36,900.

Didn't you know, all '69 455's were painted blue! :^)

At least he didn't use "ragger" in the text of the eBay listing... :)
    25 points to the seller!

That's pretty mean of you guys to be "ragging" on this car! I still say it looks nice, and I would gladly pay $17K for it, and just learn to live with the shame of it having a 455 under the hood instead of a 400. And if you hate black undercarriages, well, shame on you for being racist! :)

$17k yes, $36,900 asking price or close to it, NO!

I got no problem with the 455 (I put one in my 69) but at least paint it the right color and don't call it "period correct" when you couldn't get a 455 in 69, and it is probably a 74-76 motor, lol!

There’s something to be said for that. Many times it costs way more to build than to buy. If a resto takes years to complete those years are missed out on for actual cruising/racing, etc. Or get another lower priced driver to use while the resto work continues.

This guy is a flipper dealer in Central Florida that has changes names several times. He comes across some nice cars and asks outrageous prices, they relist on Ebay many times then finally sell.

Looks like the market says it’s a $16-17k car.

Wow, that car could sing the Johnny Cash song "I've been everywhere, man..."

It was a number one hit for Nova Scotia's Hank Snow, long before Cash ever did it.

    Cheers

Well, I prefer the car singing the (better) Johnny Cash version instead of this....
