hey guys, names daniel and im from tulsa, ok
new to buicks but not to abodys, i bought a 70 skylark last year to do something with. one of my dream cars has always been a 70 gsx and i got to s skylark to build the way i want and make look like a gsx. its a bad basket case needing pretty much everything including a frame. ive bought a 2010 express van with a 6.0l 6l90 trans to swap into it. pretty excited about this as my original intentions was to install a pretty nasty 454 th400 that ive had.
ive also got a 1970 chevelle ss396 which was my first car, now powered with gen 6 540ci and a 4l80 trans and ive got a completely original 1972 malibu 350 that ive been undecided about what to do with.

OZGS455 Oh what a wonderful day!

    Excellent Patina!!!
I'd leave it looking just the way it is and spend your hard earned on mechanical upgrades.
    More pix please...

Cool project! You will love the 6.0 and 6 speed combo! I have that combo in a lifted 8000 pound truck and it’s amazing! I do suggest headers and a tune, woke mine right up!

there is a fellow on here who recently did a 6.0 and 6 speed swap into a 75 Regal however he had to cut the floor a lot to accommodate the trans size. He’s loving the swap though!

thanks guys. it needs major help, rear window channels rusted out, floors and trunk rusted out, very very minor rust on the quarters behind the tire tho, doors and fenders are good, core support rusted out. i was going to post more pics but didnt know if i should start a build thread instead of on this post. im not new to the ls stuff. ive got a 2015 ss sedan with ls3/6l80 combo, cammed and lsa blower on e85 makes 650rwhp. also have a 89 rx7 that i daily with ls1/t56, and my tow rig is a 2000 k2500 obs with magnacharged and cammed 6.0/4l80.

I'm down here in Dallas. I am a fan of ...use what you have.... so use the LS 6.0 ... my 6.0 swap is great.

    Cheers
