Pure gas is better (if you can find it) and before I had my 455 rebuilt I added lead substitute to unleaded fuel with each fill-up. During the rebuild they put in the hardened valve seats so I no longer require the added lead. My '70 455 takes Premium but your '69 would be fine on low to mid grade. That said, there's always a debate on cost vs v quality vs need. For everything I drive/ride, I only use top-tier premium fuel (most of what I drive/ride require it anyway). I'll let others chime in and help with the oil question as I have no issues in Tucson, AZ.

for some reason I'm not allowed to send you a DM. I was going to say:

Thanks. I am not far at all from Waterford and have heard of Buick Bob around here. Contact info would be great. This big sled needs just a few odds & ends, and a lot of work. Thanks much~Lrobby99

The Big Buick is tarp covered, and loaded down with Grandpa Gus Mouse Repellent. I have begun sourcing the missing trim parts. Mainly, the center hood piece, and nearly everything on the R. Side. The L. Side has almost everything.
And I found the Oldbuickparts website. That is some great catalog.
Here he is peeking out from under the blanket.

I would go with 93 octane fuel bought at a busy station so the gas is fresh. Some stations don't sell a lot of premium and the quality suffers. I recommend VR1 Valvoline 10W30 oil or a reputable brand plus a bottle of zinc additive. Oils for modern cars have lower amounts of zinc but older cars with flat tappet cams need more zinc. Use a good quality oil filter. If your car has been sitting a long time I recommend changing the oil before starting it and then changing it again after a few hundred miles. The oil is sure to get dirty upon start up. I've rescued several cars, trucks, and tractors that have set a long time and have been surprised how quickly the new oil becomes dirty after start up.

Have quite a bit of clean trim pulled from a '69 Electra 225 coupe. Some of it may fit your convertible. And quite a few other bits. Southwestern condition. No pits. PM if you need anything. My ads are updated regularly under avatar "newmexguy" in Parts for Sale section. Package deals possible on larger number of items. Dave S. southern NM

The rectangular ones? Beats me. I'll look it up in the '69 manual I just got. Maybe the Custom version came with these?

Must be I own a Frankenbuick! No antenna on the qtr panel. This must drive the value waaay up! Get a '69, get a '70 all in the same car.

Its probably a 70 that was in an accident at one time and they put a 69 Front end on it . Now to do that they needed to change the Radiator support too . My 69 had the radiator support changed to a 70 . Ask me how I know . . I went thru the same thing with my car . The guy who I bought it from had already picked up the Bumper , Grills , Fenders and hood for a 69 but couldn't install it because the radiator support has the headlight placement inboard be 6 inches where as the 70 has the headlight placement all the way out .

Is the Antenna a thin wire in the center of the windshield ?

I solved the antenna question. According to the Chassis Manual, antenna can be in either front or rear fender. I looked further and it seems only the power antenna in in the rear.
Then I checked the car and the spot is on the RF fender.
