Picked up a 68 Custom recently. Needs plenty of work but body is solid and dry, a few dings. Sold in Phoenix originally and stayed put. Collecting parts now as cooler weather arrives. Wiring mess so Painless harness going in first. TA Performance is 45 mins from me so I'll be visiting there as well. Already been on the phone and super helpful already. Thanks everyone for this great resource! Pics from day one at the sellers house.

    Awesome, another Stepchild project!

Welcome from Florida! Nice find and I'll be watching out for the build thread on this one.

Thanks for the welcome. everyone. So the not so good news is the motor is out. Top end looks great, some porting, crank is scored and some cylinder concerns. Previous owner put it through it's paces hard and often and was reassembled by himself. A Thumper cam and open headers masked the knock we could hear later in the garage after exhaust went on. Get the wallet out, it's a Buick.

Was a column shift, moved to a floor B&M setup. Gray cloth buckets from who knows what but found a clean Chevelle bench. Couldn't find a center arm rest one with centered head rests but this will work for now. Don't laugh at the interior, you've been there once before.

Some goodies in the trunk were a couple quadrajets, spare oil pan, original radiator (aluminum in now), tach and some old Lakewoods.

I just looked up the part number of the tach and found this old ebay hit. There's no gasket so it's an interior piece not hood mount. 66-67 Chevelle "knee knocker" tack? Cool find.
