    Hello,

New member currently stationed in CA but hoping to get elsewhere. My dream car has always been a 1970 GSX 4 speed, but know I will never be able to afford one. I have been looking for a project car to fill the gap and am looking to settle on a 455 auto I found that needs a lot of work. Ready to sacrifice the next 5 years of my weekends in this pursuit just to have the opportunity. Working on a minor restoration to my Dad's 1994 Jaguar XJS V12, mostly electrical and cosmetic. Look forward to learning from everyone here once I can finally get my hands on one.

Welcome - Feel free to run any potential purchase by on here. There were at least some recent signs @ auctions that the std. 455 cars are doing better value wise.

Thanks Dano. Will do. Waiting some answers on my initial questions on the one I found, but if anyone has any leads it would be appreciated. I will post in that section as well if this doesn't pan out. Hope this will be something I can fix up and leave to grandkids some day, assuming they will still be allowed to drive a gasoline car.
