Hello everyone! New member from Denver, Colorado here. I am so excited to have found this forum! I look forward to asking questions to everyone as I work on my Riviera and learn from everyone here. I was diagnosed with stage three cancer and was given a fifty fifty shot in late 2019. As I was sitting for my first chemo infusion (had no idea that was an eight hour process!) I looked up my dream car- a boat tail Buick! I had been in love with the boat tails since I was a kid but over the years, the ones I found were either totally tricked out and very expensive or were just shells of vehicles that hadn’t run in years. On that day I found what I had been looking for after all those years. She ran, looked nice but still needed some love so the price was decent. I didn’t hesitate, called right there during the infusion to make an offer and had shipping settled by the next day. I will never forget when it got dropped off and taking that first ride in it! Treasure every day!!!
Welcome! Wife and I were out in your neck of the woods last late October/early November. Beautiful country, once you get your breath. Did the Pikes Peak thingy and stayed at The Broadmoor. Could never afford that place on our own...company trip.
Welcome Dre, I think the car will look even sharper with the original chrome wheel well trim back in place (like the car in the pic under this post) Is that a '71 rear bumper, or did you remove the rubber strip from the original bumper?
That is one sweet looking Riviera! Welcome from Florida. I was in Denver a couple months ago. Love the Ft. Collins and Granby areas.
Many relatives in the Denver area, Erie/Boulder/Longmont my Dad is buried in Layfette Cemetary Welcome and a nice ride! Prayers for your recovery & health!
You were relatively close and didn't let me know. Shame on you;-) I would have driven at least 4 miles to see you. It's been years since we were talking before judging at the GS Nationals.
