New Engine Start up Buick 455

    Whenever I start one that isn't in the car, or one that is but doesn't have the front end or a radiator in it, I use this simple setup. You can literally adjust the temperature by simply adjusting the PVC valve on the lower hose.

    where does the upper hose/pvc terminate to? Atmosphere or a tank?

    Check to make sure the lifter is spinning in the bore too. It has to spin while the engine is running on a flat tappet cam.

    The floor drain. It's clean water so it can pretty much drain wherever you want it to.

    Prolly shoulda gone halvsies on the valve springs.
