Hey Ken, so how's it going?? Any idea when I could check them out? PM or give me a call, for whatever. Gary Giessen (858)531-2963
More pics please. We (me) like looking at pictures of machined parts. Excited to see the finished parts.
Hopefully John can download video of rough port machining in action when he gets back to Maine next week. We should also have a firm price on head costs by the end of this month. ken
Back at the house. We are out of Florida in/during the hurricane.. I'll post more in the next few days. Stay tuned.
Ken Betts, so are a set of these "local"?? Can I come check them out?? How many pairs have been made/are done? I really don't think Santa can afford to put them under my Xmas tree!! These could put my convertible into the 4's in the 1/8th mile!! Gary G
Congrats to everyone involved! They heads really look great and I am sure will perform just as well! Kind Regards!
I'll post more pictures and info later today or tomorrow. Need to set up and learn on a new computer. The rockers are being done now.
3 sets were done for a 4.5 bore or larger. 1 is at Jesel for rockers, Keep in touch I will have a set soon. We do have more material in florida but we will eventually make them from a forged billet material. The next sets will be made for a 4.350 and 4.500 bore or what anyone else may want. Changing valve size and location is easy including port alignment but we prefer 3-5 sets of each at a time. As soon as the rocker set up is finished we will have firm pricing. They will be way less money than I spent on the 447 cfm heads and flow way better out of the box! ken
YES there is room for water, we are going to decide if we do that our selves. It won't be the cheapest part of machining. This has been such a long process I was wondering if we would ever get them. I only hope everyone is excited as I am. Wait till we start porting them. These are sooooo good out of the box that any porting won't happen until the next run. We will make special heads for that! Now the fun begins.
Ken..... they look GOOD!! We may have to talk when I start screwing my 600 inch Tomahawk together!! Steve
