Hello from the Netherlands, I'm going to replace my water pump. But some bolts also going through the timing cover into the block. Is it necessary to remove the timing cover as well? And there are bolts that need a sealer because some out in the cooling of the block. Which were they? Thank you.
https://www.amazon.com/Loctite-483630-Thread-Sealant-50-Mililiter/dp/B0002KKTH2 The long bolts that go into the block. On the 455, it's 3 out of 4 of the long bolts. Not sure on the 350. Doesn't hurt to use it. All you need is a small amount on the last 3 or 4 threads that go into water.
I did removed the timing cover, because of the use of RTV in the past. See my new thread "timing chain sloppy"
