What’s the best way to gain more legroom in a 70 GS 455 I’m sure this has been discussed but I’m having trouble finding it on the board I would appreciate any help thank you
I haven't used them personally, but I know there are front seat relocation brackets which move you back at least a couple inches. -MIG
There are factory brackets for the early cars (64-67) because the front seat is really close to the dash and customers complained. I haven't heard of the same issues with the 68-72???
Thanks guys for the replys … move the front seat back was the best one im 6-2 and my 70 gs bench has me to close to the dash .. JW must have the same problem i know he is tall .. any one else figured this problem out ?
you got that right... every time I get in a GS I am reminded that the average height of a male in the 60's was under 6 feet.. The stock eliminator car will have a set of these under the driver seat before I fabricate the seat bar in the roll cage, that's for sure.. https://www.opgi.com/interior-acces...JXYy6IBPObOtaSJ1xC5T0YIBjqDUZYvRoCMywQAvD_BwE JW
Try being 6’7” Just picked up my upholstery yesterday. Going to try a set of those. There are others on the market but these look way better than 4 individual tabs to move the seat back
