I am building a 496 F1A Procharged street/strip Buick skylark. I am not rich and and am running out of money. I already have $35k into this car and it is all motor, trans, rear end and brakes ( hydroboost ect). I do not bring this up to brag, the point I am trying to make is that I was going to mini tube the car to put bigger wheels and tires under the car, but that venture is around 5 grand; by the time I get a body dolly, the mini tube kit, the wheel tubes etc. I am tempted to put the car together now, but the original Buick ralleys will not fit my front and rear disk brake kits. I have 15" inch ralleys off my el camino that will clear the brakes, but the 295 50 r 15 wheels wills not fit under the body. does any one have info what will fit a 69 skylark? Or the best way to measure for it? i have called all types of companies and they do not have the information? also, i am running a 4:11 posi, I am looking for a 31 inch tire with hopefully 10.5"wide tires. but do not know what will fit.

any help will be greatly appreciated.

I would stick to a 29" tall tire or you will have more tire rub issues.
