Myrtle Beach has its annual Run to the Sun Event this week starting Thursday. Thousands of cars attend from all over the U.S. Many are trying to leave the snow behind. Forecast is high 60s and low 70s depending on the service you use. Also it is being held during the Canadian / American period. http://www.myrtlebeachinfo.com/canamdays/events.html http://www.peedeestreetrodders.com/default.asp
I'm not sure if Alan's green dyno is back living. We usually come by aircraft but who knows. The weather has to be watched for a few more days.
I'll be working 12's Mon through Thursday, and getting off work Friday morn about 5am. I'll be happy to just get away!
Myrtle Beach weather. Low 70s forecast now with Saturday having a risk of isolate of T storms. http://www.weather.com/weather/tenday/USSC0239?from=search_10day
I was told that while the constuction is going on they are having it in dirt field this year with no grass. So we decided to take a pass on going until they get settled again next year.
I guess I'll go and look at a bunch of dusty cars! Maybe I'll see some of this; http://www.dirtycarart.com/
I was told this would be the last year it would be held at the old location. I will very likely drive my Buick there Friday to look around and visit with a few friends. Alan, are you taking your Buick? Kind of sad, only 2 members out of 18K and no one is showing their Buick.
Nope. I usually go to get away for a day more than anything else. One day I'd like to have my stuff to the point where all I have to do is jump in it and go.
It's still alive!!!!!!!!!!! Just at my shop. I plan to drive it Monday. Isn't that St. Patricks day? I also hope to have some parts ready to go on the engine soon so that the front wheels will come back up in the air where they belong.ray:
