Since I am a Pontiac fanatic, I thought I'd share my car. It is a 1974 Pontiac LeMans GT 455. Ordered new in South Bend, IN from Don Medow Pontiac. Options include the GT package, 455, 3.42 Saf-T-Trac, tach & gauges, HD cooling, AM radio, and a few minor things. It went to California for years and came up for sale in about 2011. I couldn't make it happen in the timeframe, so I contacted a friend in IL and he bought it. He offered it to me in 2019 and my wonderful wife bought it for me. Now the car is back in Indiana.
All the mechanicals were rebuilt by the CA owner, so it drives much better than it looks. I call it my Time Machine, I take it out on the country roads, and for just a little while, I am 18 again.
Another thing that makes it unique, it was ordered as a Sport Coupe with a louvered window delete, a $35 credit. I believe it was because the Sport Coupe was the only way to get buckets and console. I've done several other repairs/upgrades since these pics were taken.
Anyway, thanks for taking the time to read this.

Cool story! It looks like it stayed original from what I can tell!

That car is really cool! I missed a '73 GTO 4spd by minutes a few years ago. I would have loved that!

Cool car, love the Colonnade survivors. Having always been shunned for bumper size, emissions detuning, etc.. most people dont realize the 73/74 cars actually run as well as the 71/72's and are a MUCH better road car than the earlier A's. Would love to see more on this car.

The 73-77 a body’s are the best riding cars I think.

Nice, reminds me of my all original 1974 Laguna Chevelle right down to the original Polyglass tires. LS5, 454, rock crusher 4-speed, swivel bucket seats. Wish I had never sold it! Went out west somewhere. After I had sold it, came to find out only nine 454 4-speeds were built that year. White, maroon top and interior. Remember to this day you had to “lift” up on the stick to get it in reverse. Was a very good looking car.

    Old thread I know,
But when I was 15, my Dad and I went to look at the exact same car.
A 1974 white with maroon stripes and interior Laguna with 454 4spd.
Only non stock items were aftermarket air breather, headers, and big and little Cragar SS mags.
Guy took us for a ride, ran strong, but I couldn't convince Dad to buy it.
I begged for a while, we called back, and it was gone. Owner said it sold to a prominent sports figure that collected musclecars. This would have been around 1984-1985ish
