First 2 photos are from the previous owner 5yrs ago. 3rd photo is how it looks currently. I have been using a razor blade scraper to gently remove the old paint and see how much of the original paint I can salvage, just for the hell of it. Doesn't take much effort. I'm not expecting it to look great under the Red paint, but I think it would be nice to see most of the original color again, even if it's not perfect.
Looking forward to the progress updates on this one. Looks like that red paint is coming off pretty easy. Was there any primer between it and the original paint & bodywork?
