I recently purchased a 71 GS Stage 1 car. The seller had the IBM punch card with the car. I took his word and bought the car. Thanks to Duane Heckman, My faith is reinforced in humanity. I am the proud owner of a documented Stage 1 GS. I bought it as a roller, but at the end of the day I own one of a handful of 71 Stage 1 cars. Needless to say, I am happy.
Welcome to the club! I took a gamble on my 71 based off the rf fender looking to have original black paint underneath a terrible white repaint and stage 1 emblem holes. The motor was a built 70 455. Got the car home and on the lift, the numbers matching BB trans was still in the car! It's an original black on black stage.
