Assembly moving along. I hate when life/work gets in the way. 19D87D89-EA4B-433D-82C6-1D517BA4047E.jpeg

Your machinist label the TA rockers?
    Meticulous guy....

Meticulous is an under statement. I asked him if he had the capability to weigh the engine. He measured everything in grams and went as far as calculating oil and water capacity. I will post it one day.

Here is the weight measurements my machinist calculated. I guess he never weighed the dipstick because it wasn’t cut to length yet before he passed. B0693CF5-9F0A-43F1-920B-4779D2A54B4D.jpeg

Thank you! So the alum heads are a solid 50 pound loss.

Well I managed to get some work done. I fitted the pan filled with break in oil and primed. I have 75 psi at both the front and back of the block. TA cover and all the oiling mods paid off. Installed lifter baffle and intake. Now for all the external parts. Trying to stay on track for putting it on the dyno by the end of the month.

Awesome! Let’s guess the HP. I say 455 Hp at 6300 RPM and 430 foot pounds of TQ at 3400.

Steve, I wish you'd of bought the 1-3/4" Hookers instead of those 1-5/8".
That motor should run good and might breathe a bit better with the Hookers.
    Good job! Finish it up!

Steve this all about Fantom works.
Do you or anyone think the rear bumper was made into a N25 and not a true original. It looks rounded up top and on the outer corners on the cutouts?
Or did the quality vary from the factory?

I'm guessing 458 hp at 6000 and 422 ftlbs at 3800 just to start on first dyno run without real tuning..

My old headers will have to do for now unless the money tree in backyard blooms early. Lol When I bought them I didn’t think I’d go this extreme on the build. Who was I kidding. Go big or stay on the porch!

As far as I can tell it’s an original N25. For the price the previous owner paid it should be platinum plated.

As far as power goes my machinist’s guesstimate was 503@6500. I’ll have to look through the paperwork again to see if he had a torque prediction. My motor is close to Mike Jr’s 350. He had 481 HP @ 6500 and 433tq @ 4900. My heads have slightly less porting but my cam specs were tweaked to make up for it plus a little more. Let’s see if the experts are on point. Everybody place your bets. Lol

Won’t be this year have to rewire the car this spring
and fix whatever other gremlins I discover. Planning on doing the motor over next winter. Want to clean up the engine bay before installing the beast!

Nice valve covers with the hold down bolts up top instead of Poston style.

Where are your wire looms going to attach?
