Its time to let my aquamist car go to a new home. I've owned this car for 17 years. Many threads about it and the work performed on it. Not restored but well taken care of.

Drum brake car, tilt wheel, deluxe interior, buckets, consolette, original am now am/fm, instrument group and tach, sport steering wheel, 15x7 chrome plated wheels with G60s. F41 suspension.

Car has all the correct parts on it down to the correct 2269 4 speed choke. Cliff Ruggles prepped 246 carb, everyday performance built 2016 dist. Numbers matching 4 speed trans. 3.64 performance rear axle. Car is well sorted out. Drives well.

Paint is a little weak. A driveway job from probably the mid 90s. It's got its share of bumps and bruises but it's very presentable. Interior probably looks the same as it did in 1975.

Car spent its entire life in Wyoming and Colorado so it was always dry as a bone. Frame and floors are perfect.

Well documented back to 1971. There is hardly anything I haven't had my hands on. It's a very nice car.

55k firm. Car is located on LI NY.

You didn't say, is motor original? If not, is it a 70 block?

I’ll jump in line, but have a few questions. I’ll give you a call to discuss the car this evening.

There is no physical difference between an SS block and a non SS block

Through mid to late 71 all blocks had large oil passage and carried the same part number as 70 blocks. Very early 71 had small passage. Late in 71 part number on block changed.

Good question. According to the daily car reports, there were 174 total GS's painted code 34. How many were stage 1 4 speed hardtops? No one knows but I would venture to guess there were about a dozen like mine. There are about 5 in the registry last time I looked and only one with a black vinyl top....this one.

Good Afternoon Jason, I know you said not restored but has it had any cutting done on the body? I know I said you were a little over my price range but I am reconsidering your price point. I have not seen any other posts about it and I can't find any you are referring to. What all have you done to it during your tenure with it?

    Thank you

Car has never been cut in any way. Still wearing its original quarter panels. All sheetmetal, floors, trunk etc is original to the car.
