Not sure if I can post here but makes sense. I have a Monogram GSX model still in box. Only outer wrapper is gone. Main pieces are still connected and in sealed package. All decals wheels, etc. are present. $20 plus shippig US. Cleaning out my Mothers house and I found this. Probably 20 years or so old.
Guys, I actually found another one as well. The second one is a Revell/Monogram. This one is about 10 years old I guess and is still in outer wrapper. Maybe Revell bought Monogram? The Revelle says two in one and it looks like you can make it custom or stock GSX. Says has decal as well. This one is molded in white instead. My guess is they are the same model except for color. I might suggest that Korrie get the first choice of the two and the second goes to Jan. Nice thing about the first it also has Swedish directions which would be good for Jan. My Swedish Granfather always told me Danish, Swedish and Norwegian were all very close. Check out the pics. First two are the opened yellow. Second tow are unopened. Shows side of box with both build options. The second wrapped unit would be $30 for the sealed box plus shipping if fair.
The first one in yellow is the original issue. The 2 in 1 in white is the later re-issue. Revell and Monogram merged together as did AMT and Ertl. Im a big plastic model guy!
Jason, you are a parts scrounger first and foremost. Good score on that other stuff. If I had not bought a set of roof weahterstrip before it was discontinued I would be begging for yours. Out of curiousity does the NOS GS455 decal say Made in USA on it? I had someone give me one and he said it was NOS. Does not say USA on it but the silver foil around the tri shield is real deep almost 3D.
Jason, Sounds like mine except for the USA. I must have a freak as it is not like any repro I have ever seen. Fred, I will keep you posted.
Also Jan, I meant to say the languages I believe were very similair. I know the geography of the area pretty well.
