Hi, I figured this advice might be of use to someone out there. I changed over from a muncie m21 to a super t10 transmission. On the side cover of the muncie bolts are used to mount the shifter plates as opposed to the st10 which has studs projecting from the side cover. I wanted to be able to retain the stock type of reverse lockout mechanism so that I would have my reverse lights and stock functioning of the transmission. I had wrote to Mike garrison to see if he made a modified reverse lockout stud that would fit the st10, which he didn't. So i took my stud which was broken where it should have screwed into the tranny and cut the threaded part off.

then I ground the surface flat and put the stud into a drill press and drilled out the center and tapped in some threads.

Now I should be able to attach to my st10 and hook up the linkage factory style.
