Mid '60's Dog Dish Hubcaps: Correct Detailing?

    Recently picked up a set to alternatively run on my '67 Special, and upon receiving them, noticed something I was previously unaware of: they have some color in the emblems! See pic.......is this correct, or did someone get creative with their paintbrush?

    I think someone added that colors I never saw another set with color just black.

    Yeah, that was added. I csnt tell you hiw many nos caps slipped through my fingers
