I've seen the posts saying to grind the fuel pump arm or bend it to clear the timing chain but there has to be a better way. We also tried oblonging the holes on the pump but that's a siliconed leaking mess. We also put 2 gaskets behaind the timing cover. Any one found any better ways? I am required to run a mechanical pump by rules and need the double roller real bad. Stock chains are junk in one season in my application if they make it that long. This is the next item I would like to see T/A address. I believe all it would take would be a chevy six valve pump with a correct arm built to clear the chain, which is what we are doing in our shop, but what a pain. I hope it lasts. Okay I vented. I feel better now.
