Looking forward to it - as is Linda's 94-year-old grandmother, who is planning on being there to see some Buick action. :TU:
I sure seems like everyone has been quiet about this event. What kind of turnout are we looking at? Or, is everyone too busy trying to get ready? o No:
The crowd from Dallas either has too many races to attend throughout the year so this one doesn't mean much to them or they are getting soft..... :bla:  :bla:
Carl see you There! some people are out of the loop at the moment but it will be fun regardless.:3gears:
Thrashing to Get Convertible done for Norwalk, BUT will be headed to Waco Tomorrow Morning with Steve Campbell's 66 on the Trailer and "Buick Bone Head" along for MORAL laugh: ) Support. I will also have some 70-2 "A" body parts FOR SALE. New Weather Strip, AC Dash, Convertible Fuzzies, Miss Small Parts. I just got in from Maine and I see that the turnout might be low???!!! What? This is the primo event of the year in Texas, isn't it? I hope everybody comes...
Welcome back from Maine Frank! I know it was only for a couple days! I will give you a ring this morning. The event is always a blast even if some of the regular are out of the loop but I think most of the core group will be there and we have some of the Oldsmobile guys there also. It's good to have them also.:TU:
Have fun and luck at this event guys, remember to be safe.I hope to see some pictures of the action.:3gears:
The rain heldout! A great turnout, lots of fun. A big thanks to Phil and to all the buick guys for putting this all together! :beer
For Those that missed it, YOUR LOSS!!!!!!!!!!!ou: Good turn out considering the fact it was a Rain Date, Unknown Track, and some other problems, BUT the Even Went SMOOTH, and a GREAT time was Had By ALL, Both at the Track & the Motel.:TU: :TU: Times Got Interesting, and Good Runs, Good PAY OUTS (Not the "Well, our Expenses were more than expected, so Here is 1/2, and we'll put the Balance to Next Years Kitty" that I have heard from a Certain "Big Event" in a State that begins with a "K".):eek2: OUTSTANDING JOB Phil!!:TU: A Special THANKS to Frank Brooks for the FINE BBQ ETC. AND For allowing me to Run his Wildcat, that I had Never seen, let alone been in. 2nabot, "We're Gunning for You":Smarty: Thanks Frank.:TU: JR
Thanks JR for the comments. Remmember I am just the person who puts the show together. It is the people who decide if it is worth their effort to participate that make this event fun. Thanks to everyone that came and I hope everyone had a great time.
Ahhh, go ahead and rub it in! It'll go well with the gear lube in my hair. (Odd, but my wife doesn't seem to appreciate the lovely aroma of 80-90W as much as I do...) Sorry I missed all the fun...but on the flip side, my rear end is feeling much better now!
Well that's real good, 'cause if'n you wuz there, I think it wooda been spanked!:spank: :spank: :3gears: :3gears:   :Brow: :Brow:
Guess I left myself wide open for that one... ou: Now I can't think of anything witty in response...guess I'll just have to go with the old standby: "Oh, Yeah?"
