Has anyone used the Kenne Bell Maxi 4 cam, and if so, i would like to hear some opinions on it, and or results. Thanks
Don't know anything about that cam. But its specs are listed on the following site. Looks like a big camshaft. http://chicagolandbuick.org/partners/Charlie Evans cam tables.htm
I had heard that cam was for a 'stock appearing' type car with iron manifolds - that would explain the large split favoring the exhaust side (duration and lift). Will you be running Stage 1 iron heads or aluminum?? Headers?? Scott
scott I am running stage 1 cast iron heads with some port work done. This is for a strickly race set up with open headers. flow numbers ----.100-----.200-----.300-----.400-----.500-----.600 int. 69.3----140.7----214----- 261.4---267.8----267.8 ex. 61 -----117.6----157.5---188------203.7----208
mid ten's 12.5 to 1 TA 308s cam Dominator Your heads In a well set up car (3200/3400lbs) Should go mid ten's or better
I wouldn't run the Maxi 4 cam with your setup. Like Gary suggests above, the TA 308 would be tough to beat! Scott
