Re: Burton Single Turbo setup. That was easy!

Let me guess, it goes into the dipstick tube? Or the valve cover? Timing cover?

I would like to see pics of the inside of the plumbing. Welding slag/spatter WILL come loose after a few heat cycles. Even the china turbo manufacturers wont warrany that.

Definitely changing title. This board is becoming a joke. Who is behind this? I would like to know as I am a staunch (look it up) supporter, and don't like games. or people playing favorites.

I posted one thread with this title in the Buyer/Seller Feedback. And another in on the bench for general discussion about single turbo's. I guess the moderator decided that I only needed one thread even though it was two separate points of view. I didn't change anything

As for the slag falling off. This is not my first rodeo with marks stuff. It will work just fine just like the previous two projects we did. Besides I didn't see any spatter or slag:rolleyes:.

The oil will return into the fuel pump block off plate. I will not be changing anything in the car other than installing an electric fuel pump and a boost referenced pressure regulator. I was only going to run 4 psi and no regulator. But now I have decided that if I buy a pump I should just buy a good high pressure pump and a regulator and be done with it. I will run 9 psi to run 9.00 and 12 psi will get in the mid 8's

    1. Great progress for the small block crowd! Effective and 'cheap' power. Great to see the large strides in the 'best bang for the buck'.

    2. Steve- where the heck have you been?? :). Many new members, spam bots, clowns, dipsh*ts, douple, triple and multiple posts about the same subject, COMPLETE lack of use of the 'search' feature, so on.. THAT is why it seems like the board 'is a joke'. There are still many of the 'dinosaurs' on here, just not logged in :Brow: (Am I now a dinosaur being here since 2002?!?!? :puzzled:  :af: ). However, go to BPG or GSCA or BCA event and you will find what you're missing!!! :TU:

Hey Turbo455, could you post some pics of your 69 Skylark w/the single turbo, the set up and all that. I'm just curious about where you put it and what it looks like. Thank you

It's been a while since he's been around. I too would like to see it, but it really doesn't look too complicated..

i am pretty sure that the project was never completed... i am looking into the idea of flipping the right ex. manifold to the left side and pointing it forward and down to help route the exhaust into a single pipe to a turbo. Using an electric fan will free up space. i am considering doing a single turbo on my 75 regal. i just drove it out of my barn after sitting for 7 years.... it fired rightup and drove out with new battery, and priming the carb

Tried doing that a while back but one of the manifolds interfered with something. Don't remember which one, or if it was both.
