We lost our Mother yesterday after a long battle with cancer. She lived a full life and was 77. I was fortunate to be with her when she died and she did it on her own terms in her own home near the picture window overlooking the incredible garden that she worked so hard to create. She is no longer suffering and for that we are greatful. I probably owe to her my intersest in working on cars not because whe was intersted in them but because she had no fear working on anything. When I saw the things she tackled I decided how hard can taking a car apart be. I will never forget the night I came home and she had a sledgehammer and was knocking down the walls of a large walk in closet because she wanted a more open front hall area. Next thing I knew I was giving her a hand. She was very strong until the end hanging on long enough for her 1 year old great grandaughter to come throough an operation to fo fix an eye problem. She must have known she came through OK as my Mother died a few minutes after the succesful operation. She knew somehow before anyone else. I do believe in such divine powers. She will be missed by all her family and numerous friends. She was a teacher for years and I am finding touched the lives of many more than I could have ever known. Thanks for your thoughts. Dave
