Got the call today that a friend of mine passed away this afternoon, due to complications from his stem cell transplant that he had about two months ago (Lymphoma). Mike Taber was 38 years young and left behind a wife and two boys, Tyler and Jordan, a 7th grader and a 5th grader. He will be missed and his memory will live on the hearts of all that he touched. Sometimes life just sucks!:ball:

Sorry to hear you lost your friend...it's terribly sad for a young father to leave his family.

Those young men will need watching over.

I'm so sorry to hear about this. It breaks my heart. Somehow, God manages to heal through ways we will never begin to comprehend in our little pea brains. Please extend my heart felt sympathy to your friend's family.

Hey Chris sorry to hear of your loss. I lost my Dad when I was 4 years old, that was 45 years ago, miss him every day.

Just remember God calls us home for his needs, that is when those of us have to step up to the plate and show Him we are worthy.

Life doesn't suck, it just makes us look deeper for for our strength. Just remeber those who have come through these challanges are our reminders of our faith.

God bless you Chris and your family, sorry for your loss and please watch over those boys for your friend.

Sorry to hear about your loss. That's too young to die, especially with a family.
I'm 44 and in the last couple years have lost two people that I graduated high school with. Two out of about 40 of us, and with that few people we were all friends. Not suppose to happen to good people at that age.

    Chris,
I'm a surviving example of a Lymphoma survivor. I had it 8 years ago when I was 25 and I'm one of the fortunate ones. I'm sorry to hear about your loss, but I can tell you, with being on the other side that he's probably wanting the best for you and your family. It was the most difficult part for me seeing my family and friends worrying about me and not being able to do anything about it, except keep on fighting. But, during that time I accepted the fact I may leave this Earth and realized everyone goes through it. We all have our time to go, but the soul always lives on.
