Just waiting on the transmission to get the rebuild finished. Then I can get it dropped in. Been working on cleaning up the wiring and engine bay.

UPDATE: The motor and transmission is in. However, I have to get new engine mounts. The ones that came with the motor are for a G body. got a set coming from Brett. Thanks.

Once the mounts are on. The motor is completely in the car. I can get to work hooking everything up. Fun-Fun

UPDATE: The motor and transmission are in properly. Headers are bolted up. Transmission cross member is bolted in. Radiator is in and hooked up. Need new hoses though, on the way. Quite for the day. Going to relax. Hit it again tomorrow.

Next Transmission lines, bolt trans to cross member, exhaust, throttle body, fluids. Then vroom.:):):):):)

UPDATE: Lines are done, throttle body on, oil added, water added, driveshaft on, exhaust done. just need to add transmission fluid.

I seem to be missing something on my shift linkage. The cross bar that hooks to the gear selector on the transmission. Does the other end have a cup or something it rides on. It is a TH350.

Did anyone find an answer to this?
Skimmed through the comments but maybe missed it…
My guess is the conversion from 350 to the 455. But it’s just that, a guess

Well working out some bugs. Got her started, wouldn't idle. But shut it down. Had a couple coolant leaks, a fuel leak and an oil leak. The coolant leak were loose hoses, Fuel leak was the return needed tightening. Oil leak is right at the front cover. Found I had one bolt stripped. I eventually will have to get a new front cover. However, not in the budget right now. So, I sealed with with permitex black

What should the timing be at WOT? I am running the full Sniper system, but the dist, which I am running a MSD.

I’d start at 30* total and creep up from there, let the combo tell you what it wants.
