    Hi all,
I have a couple of names that were provided to me through different sources that 'may' have been connected to my cars past. I want to be sure I do not do anything that is frowned upon or not OK on this site so asking first; anyone know if it is OK to throw out some names that may be connected to my car's past in some way to see if these names may be members or a member may know them somehow? Thanks!

I think it's fine as long as you don't punish there contact info (address or phone#'s) here?

Thanks, and of course, would not publish any address or phone numbers. Should I wait for any other approval replies or are you the final word?

    Thanks again!

I have zero authority here, but based on experience you are fine with mentioning a name, age and general location.

Have you tried posting pictures of your car and information about it and any known previous cities/states it was in to see if anyone here recognizes it? Maybe you already have done that and I just missed it....

Thank you all very much. Names that have come up regarding my 1970: Harold Ray Morris possibly owned between 1999 and 2002, Thomas Richard Ryan possibly owned between 2003 and 2005, Scott Warmack (no dates, brought up in a conversation).
Adding a couple of photos to reply , names now part of thread, thanks for tips.

Not sure of any previous owners, but I am fairly positive that I have seen this beauty on the road in the Silicon Valley area. It was a brief flash of burnished brown steel as it blew past me in the opposite direction...so I can't be sure, but it was definitely a 70 Buick. Nice looking car. Good luck with your search.

You guys are awesome, thanks for the kind words. I feel extremely fortunate to be the caretaker of this piece of Buick history! One more name to add, and honor for me, is my friend Dennis Carlson who purchased this car in 2005 in Connecticut and restored it. We lost Dennis a couple of years ago and the car almost got away. And yes, quite likely it was me, live in San Jose, CA, take it out to 'Cars and coffee' (casual local event in Campbell) on occasion and to an event every year here in Silicon Valley called 'Friendship Day' as my friend Dennis took it there, trying to keep that rolling:)

Did the car have a hood tach at one time? I recall a Connecticut plated brown 4 speed car back in the mid to late 80s but it had a hood tach on it.

Not that I am aware, nor do I think my friend would have changed anything that came with the car so highly unlikely.
