Looking to buy an enclosed car trailer about 20ft to haul my 70 buick gs in.
Any recommendation on which is the best trailer. I will be using an 1/2 ton with a 7500 pound tow to haul this trailer with. I am very novice on trailers. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

**Moved to "Choo-Choo" section. Lots of advise there.

***Hate to say it, but not enough truck, you'll need probably at least a 3/4 ton truck.

Don't think a 20' trailer is quite big enough for that car . Check the inside measurements and measure your car . Make sure it will fit before you buy and find out the hard way .

I really do not know the exact length of the gs but I figured 17 feet is enough. You are correct I should get a 24 footer. Due to my Z71 with 7500 towing capacity, I was leaning towards a lighter trailer and the 20 ft (3300# trailer weight and car 4000#). 24 ft (3800#) Then I need a new truck which is a something I am also leaning towards. I looked at 24 aluminum featherlite trailer today... very nice. may go that direction and a new truck...
I did a thread search on V8 and learned very much.

    Thanks for your advice.
